yeah i have killed many GT's but i did some looking up on this "Bullitt" edition and its a special edition GT they made in 2001. "The Bullitt GT's 4.6-liter SOHC V-8 produces 265 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque" OOO 5 more horsepower and 3 more ft. lbs. of torque than the GT, i cant wait to race this kid

Not similar to a Mach I, it's a SOHC engine with a revised intake and not much else power wise. Internals are the same as a regular GT. The only thing going for it is that it is a 5spd versus an auto, but not much else. The race should be pretty even assuming equal drivers. If the Z was a 6spd, it would not even be close.

my friend has the bullit mustang. It also has the cobra brakes, and suspension(i think on the suspension part), and cobra throttle body or intake i cant remeber what he said, but they are pretty quick for a mustang 5-speed.

i think it has 5 more hp(think diff. intake) then the reg. GT of that year. Close race stock for stock vs. a LT1

Should be a pretty close race if its a 1/4 mile race. The lt1 should have the edge, depending on how good of shape it is in.After the 1/4 mile the lt1 just keeps pulling away even more from the 4.6 gt.

The bullit intake is underrated. If it wasnt then there wouldnt be so many damn people upgrading to it from the stock PI one. Im not saying it gives like 50hp or so BS number but it is a nice improvement.

Just because the GT is rated at a lower hp number doesnt mean its slow. When we hit 240rwhp you can hit 12s with a little weight reduction, and suspension. If you have 260rwhp you can hit 12s with everything else being stock. You cannot say that of a camaro/firebird.

I love both brands of cars and my camaro will hold a dear place in my heart but Im really suprised at what these oval guys are doing with such a disadvantage in displacement.
