I agree totaly , there isnt any significant improvement in the later year cars that should sway your judgment . From what Ive read on the paper based synchros , the problem lies in swapping fluid to a different type of synthetic which literaly eats them up . Just stick with Gm stuff . If there is a bonus to the 01 02 cars its the upgraded clutch and hydrolics as well as the lighter fuel tank and no egr . My clutch is on its way out anyways, I could see that coming
