What about the Friday before the Woodward Dream Cruise?
Jason there is an event alot of us from Street Lethal Performance F-Body Organization Car Club will be attending that day!

Don't let it stop you from doing something if you want, but we figured alot of us will do this event then hit up Woodward right after!

It is at Alternative Automotive Technologies in Troy Michigan.

Details with event flyer... http://www.streetlethalperformance.c...ead.php?t=2717

Well that's cool!

Maybe I will just go to that then.

Hmmm...guess this will just have to be a "last detail day before we put them away" type of thing in September or something...

Re: Putting together a "Motor City Detail Day"

Every event that I wanted to attend has either clashed with an unavoidable "other commitment", or else has been canceled. So the car still sits on jack stands, just like I left it in 2009. Motivation is at an all-time low.

...and the goal of this event was to get people motivated about their cars.

Fail.

If it makes you feel better, I promise to get under the car this afternoon! I put the T56 back in place about a month ago, but it needs to come out again 'cause the clutch lever won't engage. I suppose I could pull it out and look for the problem... However there's that fencepost replacement project which is also calling my name, and the siding repair, and the laundryroom trim, and oh man, a hundred other things that would make my wife happier...

Re: Putting together a "Motor City Detail Day"

Well... I can still come any day in august before the dream cruise. Even a week day. So if your up to it JasonD, you can mark me down. I can probably bring a couple friends too.

You guys kill me. It won't happen in September either.

I'm good with the Friday before the dream cruise. Or you can go to the SLP thing. I'm good with this Saturday, or next Saturday. Whatever works, doesn't matter, I'm around quite a bit...
