Zinc cam oil

Since i had my cam installed on my 95 lt1 my friend keeps telling me (actually annoying the hell out of me) that i should be using some type of special oil or use and additive(sp?) that has zinc in it. I searched around a little and didnt find much. Anyone know what oil to use? The cam i have is a CC502

Zinc is a great high pressure lubricant... the problem is, it causes problems for 02 sensors, hence a lot of zinc levels have been reduced.

I personally wouldn't recommend a zinc additive. You should be fine as long as the cam was installed properly (adequate assembly lube).

As said by the first person to reply. This is a concern for flat tappet cams, not the hydraulic roller you used.
