JUST the manifold is under 1000. Then you need a $215 elbow and $280 tb etc. I have about 2300 into mine, but thats also with 600 worth of cam/valvetrain, 200 for porting, $135 carbon fibre base etc etc etc.

How much was the work on the manifold?? THe fuel line drilling/plumbing, map sensor hole fabrication, ect.

What about an IAC function?? Will this give you that ability or are you just going to have to play with the blades?

With welding it's doable. Been done many times before actually.

I've talked to a couple of guys who've said that they've got $2K+ into it once complete.

Granted, it's going to offer ya a bit more power, but still......dang.

In the process of doing that now thats why I am selling my lt4 intake with the direct port fogger I have over 1200 in the manifold plus my rails accufab t body will have close to 2000 invested when done

Let's not turn this into a "parts for sale" thread, or it will be moved off of LT1/LT4 Engine Tech.

Have any of you seen this? http://www.z28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59665
Now maybe people will stop buying $1500 LT4 intakes.

Like I said, edlebrock has one on the way out.

*Edit* Just found it. Scroll down to page 59. Part numbers 7107 for the LT1 and 7109 for the LT4.

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...manifolds).pdf

I like the air-gap idea and their attention to detail shows because if you notice, there are still IAC and PCV Ports.

Wow, I should have held onto my LT4 setup.
I got the LT4 heads and intake from a member here for $900 shipped and the LT4 hotcam $180.
