my friend has to have the worst luck with opti. he just got a 95 trans am. two weeks later the opti goes out. so he gets it replaced the day he got it back the top radiator hose blew and the water fired the opti. so he got another opti and a new water pump. so last night he got it back and i went on a test drive with him. we stop at the sign and he rolls forward and at about 3k he stomps on it shifts to 2nd then 4k BOOM!! then car dies. he started it again rolling rev it to 2k BOOM then dies. pull over then car wont start. 10mins later try again it starts. so he took it back in and the water pump broke and fired opti agian. and it was running rich when he got it back so the boom was a back fire. but know its on its 4th opti and 3rd water pump in two weeks.
