Well I hope you have good luck with them. My opinion does not change. It's just NOT worth the risk.

You may also need new valve seats to install those valves. I think the stock seats are limited to 2.00" and 1.56" sizes.

Re: What should I do next?

The only local person that knows how to port lt1 heads is Lloyd and since you said he is taking them to Houston I know your gf's cousin isn't Lloyd.
With 8 pages of advice and guessing why or why not it was not putting down power no one suggested getting a scan tool. The most valuable tool one could have to diagnose an efi engine, especially with all the mods you're getting into. A simple o2 being lazy can have you running in circles for months. A problem injector would be much easier to diagnose.

If there are codes the SES light will be on and a paper clip can tell you the code. How about DataMaster or some other scan tool to give you the sensor readings. There will be no SES light for a lazy o2 and many other scenarios.

Not all codes trip the ses, and IIRC, the paperclip doesn't work on 94/95 cars

Autozone often reads only OBD-II computers.

Re: What should I do next?

Ya autozone and o'reilly can't test my car. Where are the O2 sensors at anyway. I don't even see them. Also my catalytic converter I found out was completely empty. So it's basically like I had a straight pipe but it was made to look like I had a converter.

Re: What should I do next?

Btw my porter has done plenty of lt1 heads and ls1 heads and BBC
heads and other heads. The only reason everybody likes Lloyd
heads so much is because how popular he is because he specially caters to the lt1/ls1 crowd.

Re: What should I do next?

Quick questions. Are my head bolts reusable? And with 1.6 rockers should i use NSA or SA.

Re: What should I do next?

Yes, if they work now, all you'll need to do is refresh them. Seals, Spring check, surfacing.
I'd go NSA, on 7/16 studs. SA limits your spring and lift choices.

Re: What should I do next?

Does your LT1 head porter have any proven and documented results for his efforts?

Re: What should I do next?

What do you think about self aligning rockers with my crane 10308-1 spring kit (got them in today btw and its missing 1 retainer) and a cc503 cam
