what pushrod do i need?

what pushrod do i need?

Ok got me a custom turbo cam coming and need to know what pushrods to order? just hardened stockers? its 540-560ish lift. and have matching springs.

Self-aligning or NSA rockers? Length will be determined by using a pushrod length checker. What lifters? No one can tell you what pushrods to use without that info.

Moving to LT1 Based Engine Tech.....

Have you got pushrods in now? If you do no need to change for a turbo or supercharger. If anything needs to be done to accommodate a turbo it's changing the pistons.

By "type" I am assuming you mean general categories, not length. You will need to measure to get the correct length. You would need hardened PR if you are using guide plates. If you are using self aligning rockers, with the little "****" on either side of the roller tip, you do not need hardened PR. As far as diameter, wall thickness, quality, etc. this will depend primarily on spring pressure. What are your spring specs?
