Went to the track with new setup (is this right)?

I just got doing a rebuild to my LT1. In the 1/8 mile when it was stock it ran 9.4. I put an eagle 355 rotating assy. in it. Pocket ported the heads a very little bit myself, Milled the heads, comp pro mag 1.6 rockers, 918 springs (ls1 valve spring setup), xe230/236 .544/.555 112 cam, stock tranny (slipping and hitting the rev limiter on 1-2 and 2-3 shifts) , Slp 2800 converter, 3.43 gears. 30lb SVO injectors.

I was running stock bald street tires at 32 psi and not spinning one bit. Here are my new times:

2.027 60 ft
8.569 1/8mi
83.37 mph

It was 95 degrees out, 70% humidity, 400ft above sea level.

The main thing I am worried about is its not shifting right even after the dyno tune. However I put new gears in since then. 3.43 from 2.73

I think with the shifting fixed and at night it would run a 8.2

Are my times on par with what they should be.

How much power/torque did it put down? What RPM did it shift at the track?

Im running that exact 1/8 mile time and MPH and a 2.0 60' with the mods in my sig. Weird!

Ends up for me coming out to a 13.2 @106 for me. My track is 3100' above sea level though.

it only dynod at 315hp and 325tq (at 5000rpm, that is one sign that my tranny is slipping) the car is set up to shift at 6200 or 6300.

Seems slow to me, My best 1/8th is 8.356@84.45mph with a 1.917 60'. Mods in sig. My best 1/8th trap is 85.6mph, so your times are definatly off. I would get your tranny fixed then run it again.
