re

ask Dave (Fast Fat Boy) how Clyde had his Aerospace vacuum pump on that motor. I remember that he had no acceseries so it was probally much easier for him. Art p.s. Clyde said your car was pulling good times for the smaller cam and pump gas. Are you still on the same converter. he had a ~5000 stall and 4.88 gears with the bigger cam though when he went 10.40. you were moving pretty well for the current set up

mzgp5x: you must have been a tinkertoy kid... Show us some pics of that hog doing some wheelstand burnouts. I'd have to ride in that thing to see if it really works......

I got it all worked out and is mounted clean and pretty. I had to have the mandrel machined to be 1 inch shorter to get belt alignment right. Heres a pic from mock up

They sent me a long mandrel, was 4 inches from the end to the center of the belt groove. Needed to be 3". I had the tool room at my work machine it down for me. Might have been for a long water pump set up, idk. It bolts to the balancer with a longer crank bolt. Didnt touch the heads, just the intake holes. They were really helpful at GZ and it only took a few days to get my kit.
