Tuning out egr in the pcm tune total novice

My signature keeps disappearing car is 1995 camaro z28, longtubes, cold air intake, flowmaster, shift kit,a4, newer engine put in 2009 and maybe some other stuff car according to a buddy car is way faster than it should be. I don't know any history of car mods except as listed above, so my question ,I have searched the forums and I cannot find a how to tune out the egr, I can tell it has been deleted as one of the hoses has been sealed that should go to egr, can tell this by looking at shoebox site. And I know there is some free tuning software for tuning lt1's, does anyone know where I can find a guide on a step by step tuning out egr, I know it has not been tuned out correctly as I got the DTC 32 and was confirmed by a forum member that is a master of lt1's . And I am kinda at a loss when it comes to tuning out the egr because I have seen comments that it is not necesary to tune it out and others say it can effect the car. I think personally the latter is true becaus my car seems to run a bit rich. And if a guide does exist on site I apologize in advance for not being able to find it, but if someone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Your signature has not disappeared from your profile. It's right there where I entered it for you. Are you posting from a phone? Did you possibly check "no" in your profile browsing options for “Display Signatures"?

Let's make sure EGR is deleted.

Which “hose has been sealed”? Is the EGR valve still in place? Is the corrugated metal tube still connected from the passenger side exhaust manifold to the back of the intake manifold?

I know I have given you this link before, but here it is again:

Some tuning notes from lt1_edit. Program is no longer available, but info is helpful:

As far as the specifics of tuning out the EGR/code and making any adjustments to other tables, I have no idea. I never deleted EGR until the car became "track only".... and at that point I was no longer using the stock PCM to run the engine.

OP

The shorter, and likely cheaper, path would be to just hook up the EGR

There is no performance loss in having it installed....nor any gain with it removed.
