Trouble Codes MAF O2.. where to start
Ok everything is running great now. I ended up replacing the left O2 sensor after that the values were running as the right one was. I then started on the MAF. I found the stock one and cleaned that one and put it in. Still same problem however, i took the elbow off and everything after that one didnt work and found a huge rip/hole in the elbow so it was sucking unregistered air in and registering 4 to 5 grams. So i stole an elbow off one of the pontiacs on the used car lot and put the stock MAF in there just to be safe and everything is running perfect now, the MAF is actually registering 7 grams at idle.
As i was inspecting with the car running i also found another problem im going to have to address in the near future. I did not put the headers on and it looks like the kid before me got frustrated with the right side and put every single bolt in sideways and cranked it in and they aren't even totally in all the way. There is a decent exhaust leak coming from that but i guess not serious enough yet to effect my performance. So far the car is running great and throwing no more codes knock on wood. Thanks for your help guys.

Good, i'm glad to hear its up and running right again! You'll want to take care of that exhaust leak because it will effect your gas mileage a little bit if it is in front of the o2 sensor. I thought 5grams per second sounded low but figured it was because the MAF was bad! Anyways, enjoy your improved ride.

Hi, Guys
I Have the same problem, the car is missing in low rpm's. I saw the gas coming out from the exhaust. But if I disconnect the MASS SENSOR the miss disappears.
Also, I clean the MASS SENSOR with a MAF cleaner. But nothing happens.
I would damage other part if I run the car without the Mass Sensor ???

Make sure your intake elbow between the MAF and throttle body are on tight, correctly, an without any tears in them because then unregistered air would be getting in causing the MAF error. My cousin did this, he thought the elbow was on but the bottom was really wedged against the TB and threw a code.
Other than that check for connectivity in the wires like was recommended earlier in the thread.
