Bret showed these lifters to me when visiting the GM island at PRI last December and I've had them circled in the GMPP catalog and finally purchased a set from Dal (support DAL whenever possible).

Found in the Chevy LS Series section of the GMPP catalog #88958789
Just left of the LS7 Titanium connecting rod at $2736 for a set of 8. Wa!!.

Racing Hydraulic Roller Lifter Kit:
As developed by GM Racing and GM Powertrain
For use in Gen III and Gen IV engines where sustained high rpm's are typical
Special reduced-mass internal components allow for higher limiting speeds with aggressive camshaft designs
Improved valvetrain dynamics and stability will improve horsepower, and high rpm's
Tested to 8000rpm in GM racing applications
Set of 16.

I'm going to give them a try in a stock bottom tree-fiddy later in the spring.

Karl

THESE are better and they are not LS7 lifters. I just wish they were tie bar lifters like the Morel's too.

What's the reasoning behind that?? Less chance of one turning with the Morels, or am I missing something bigger?

Any concerns with the type of retaining clip for the internals, especially with minimal preload?

No if GM made them they work fine.

Yes the bars make sure you never spin a lifter.

Could you just get a rev kit...then again you'd be at the price of Morels, but theoretically you'd be doing just about the same thing, right??

Do a search, and maybe you'll forget about the rev kit.
