I want to know this too. I'd like to be able to run 190-200 on the seat and 400+ open, how will these do with that?

And is .010 preload both safe and a sweet spot for power? Wwhat's that, like 1/8 turn on stock studs?

ok so lemme ask a question...im not the best with any of this but i just readjusted my valves(trying to get my car running right) and i have stock studs and crane oem replacement lifters. i went to zero lash and 1/4 turn after that. is that enough or not? could valve adjustment be the reason why my o2's are reading crazy? i used the get the #1 up and adjust this n that one and make one complete turn etc.

Should be ok, but please don't hijack this thread. Start another with your problem.

What do they weigh compared to standard OEM lifters in LS1/LT1 engines?

In spending a whole day on the dyno trying nothing but different preloads, found the same exact thing. There was something like a 20 hp difference and lot more than you would think but the setup at the time may have been peculiar.

Wish you wouldn't tell anyone that. Got one I'd love to sell.

Well it sounds like these things are finally going to start shipping. Dal said he is going to get a few sets in the next couple of days and then ship them out to those who've ordered. I know SDPC is supposedly getting a large shipment in the next few days too.

If I get mine by Monday, I will have some results Monday night.

Now if I can only come up with a way to remote mount the electric water pump and find a 2-piece timing cover that will fit OBDII LT1's I'd be a cam-swapping fool.
Where do you get the above mentioned lifter trays? I would like to eliminate the "spider".
