Do you guys think this universal X-pipe system from Summit will work with Pacesetter LT's too? I'd love to go with the Jet Hot's just so I know that it will all work, but the Pacesetters are supposed to be just as good of quality, $200 less, and much easier to install.

My car is sitting out in the garage right now with no exhaust manifolds on it, just waiting for me to decide on which LT Header to go with.

We'll find out soon.

second, anything that is in-line with the wheels will never hit a speed bump because the wheels will always lift it up at that pount..........the only thing the underaxle part could possibly hit is if there was a big rock in the middle of the road.
Thats cool, I just didnt understand what ya meant. So that setup doesnt give you problems at all?

I've heard of people using the Hooker Y-pipe with the Pacesetter LT's, so I would assume they end at the same point on the car.

It seems all the custom exhaust places around me are run by idiots, so I would really like to do this. A car is not a car without true dual exhaust.

Someone out there must be trying this universal X-pipe with the Pacesetter LT's. Please let me know. I'm sure I'm not the only one isterested.

Like I said my car is sitting out in the garage right now with no exhaust manifolds or anything....just waitin for me to decide between the $600 Jet Hots (hard to install, +$200, but the X-pipe definitely works) or the Pacesetters.

Thanks!

nope, havent had any probs at all........once i lower the car, i might have to avoid the really high speed bumps, but regular ones should be no prob.

It is a universal kit. I dont see why it wouldnt work for the Pacesetters. That is my plan. Worst case scenario is you have to cut some pipe. Sounds pretty straight forward, but anytime you do exhaust work with bent tubes there is always some custom fabrication involved. Damn Murphey and his law

If you ask me, this is the best way to go. Cheapest, loudest, more power than any catback, lighter.......

you're right. I'm just gonna order it and whatever happens, happens. I'll get the same setup as PoorMan did with the Dynomax Bullets. I'll just have to try and figure out what kind of hangers he's talkin about, but I'm sure it wont be a big deal.

Poorman, you said previously that there was a part number on the hanger box(es)... can you please supply that so that others and I can go to Advance and purchase the right ones?

Getting this thing as bolt-on as possible makes everything much better.

Thanks!

Sounds like you stumbled upon a nice poor mans true duals setup. I'd like to try that out but i wonder if you have enough room to make the exhaust exit at an angle out in front of the rear tires? VA has this stupid law that you have to have tailpipes exiting from under the bodywork of the vehicle.

I am going to try to video some going down the road. I have to hold the camera myself though since I don't have any friends.

The boxes the hangers came in are in a land fill by now. The Advance Auto here only sells 3 or 4 different hangers though and only one of those has an all rubber loop. Once you go there you will see what I mean.
