Summit Universal X-pipe system on LT's (pic)
Looks good! You may want to rotate those clamps 90* so that the bolts are parallel to the ground. Right now those clamps look like they're giving up more ground clearance than the collectors. Just a suggestion.

I also have two 16" Dynomax bullet muffers and a pair of bolt-on hangers from O-Relley auto parts that attached through the rear seat belt holes(just used longer screws).
I also am using a pair of 14" turndowns that slip-on after the muffers(not in pics). I ordered those from JEGS btw. Anyway, the whole setup cost me right at $200 shipped. Just passing it along.

How much clearance do you have between the floor board and your driver side header flange. Mine is really close to the floorboard. It is so close that there is not really enough room to get under the tranny mount. If your exhaust came straight out from the header, would it hit the tranny mount? I couldn't really tell in the pictures. I am thinking that my motor mounts might be worn, making the headers fit too tight.
Thanks for the pictures

Goofy; sent you the video to host. Thxs.
I did get back under there and turn all the clamps upside down. I gained about an 1" clearance doing so. I put about 40 miles on it today and rechecked all the clamps. Everything was still tight.
The only downside to this setup is if you plan on removing the exhaust often. I can see me having it welded before I remove it for any reason. Overall, I am very pleased and I am pretty **** about my car.
I don't have SFC as of yet. I am hoping that the double diamonds will fit. Only way to find out is to try it I suppose.
As far as clearance. It's good also. I do need to raise one of my bullets up a notch. I didn't notice that one was higher than the other until after I dropped the car.

I highly doubt you'll be able to squeeze double diamonds under there with the true duals. I have about 5 inches of ground clearance on mine. I'll get some pics up of the car tomorrow. My set up ran about $350. Like you stated about wanting to weld the flanges on there. Mine are driving me crazy so i'm gonna end up having them welded on...makes for a lot easier on/off exhaust system. Oh mines lt's-3 in true dual-x-pipe-bullet mufflers turn downs and yes the set up is Loud for those of you who asked.
I didn't have to bend or cut any of the pipe. I did remove the down turned "lip" from the driverside trans member to clear that collector. Had the collector slipped inside instead of outside the pipe it may of not been needed. It was that close.
I also replaced the two bolts on that side of the trans member with lower profile ones because they were so close it looked like they would touch/rub with any vibration.

I cant imagine it sounds any diff. then the exh. on my Iroc. I have longtubes, hpipe, 2.5" bullets. how long are the bullets you have? they look like the same ones I have which I think are 12" long. it is loud at lower rpms, but is quite liveable at cruising speeds, and at WOT sounds flat out awesome. the only time it bothered me was while cruising through a neiborhood when I was house hunting. but that was just bad plannin on my part. lol.
lets hear that sound clip though.
also, for those who want quiet systems, there is enough room under there to mount turbo style mufflers. you will need to "clearance" the under-rearseat pans. there is abot 2" of room under the cushins that is not needed. you can push it up against the bottoms of the cushions and put whatever muff. you want. if you take your time and push up the floor evenly, it wouldnt look too bad either.

look here. you can see the muffler covers up the floor pan. I had a pretty bad oil leak at that time, thats why its wet FYI. throw some undercoating on there and it'll look great.
w/that setup, longtubes, hpipe, turbo muff.s, it was VERY quiet. as in quieter then my flomaster was on my 95z, and at cruise you didnt even hear the exh. at all w/the ttops off/windows down. really. very stealthy but I got bored of being quiet. lol

I would like to hear the sound clip. I have the same cam and Im going with the same setup but I didnt order the x pipe from summit. I really didnt like the fact that it was 2 90* pipes cut and welded together. The pipes dont make a perfectly straight line where the X's are. I went with a stainless steel x pipe I found on ebay. Here is the link if anyone would care to see......
