I don't need specific cutomers names. If you're the self-designated spokeperson for BRE, why not list the racing organizations, endorsements, superb results (things that substantiate the boastful comments, not mediocrity), etc. that make the BRE empire what it is on the internet?

i am by no means a spokesperson, it just seems to me your bashing him for a reason you yourself cant even seem to substantiate and i dont think thats right

so, what youre saying is I should overlook all the faults I had with my car and blame it on lloyd's heads and bret's cam? not to mention my heads and cam were from 3 years ago. lloyd ported my heads around september of 2004 and thats the same time I got my cam. I still have all the emails. his willingness to help with everything was impressive to say the least, hell of a good guy to talk to. I wanted a 383 that worked with a 3500 stall and 3.73s that peaked at 6500 rpm. I got what I wanted and had I continued to work all the bugs out I wouldve had my last goal. an 11 second street car. I honestly think I couldve gotten there if I had traction the last time I went. I ran a 12.6 @ 106 with a 1.7 60' on one run with the old mac headers. my last runs of 12.7 @ 113 we with 2.2-2.3 60' times. just dropping my 60's back into the 1.7s wouldve put me in the low 12s.
but like I said in my last post, I predicted exactly what you were going to say (although I admit you said it nicer than I expected.) "blah blah blah excuses excuses." we'll never know what the engine's potential would be because I just had too many problems with the car as a whole.

First, I don't know Bret, and whether I like him or not isn't even relevant.
Second, I'll pretend to ignore that you just insulted everyone with a brain reading this - this has nothing to do with 'reasons why you shouldn't'. It has to do with credibility - if you want to send your hard earned money to a guy who builds engines on software, knock yourself out. I see boastful claims and other silly rhetoric from the BRE empire, and I ask a question that cannot be answered in 25+ pages on internet site they use for profit. I hope you see the fallacy.
Whether they are nice guys, cook great meals, post helpful stuff on here, wear fashionable clothes, quote literary snippits, send holiday cards, e-thug like no other, or simply have those eyes you go crazy for means absolutely nothing in the context to, and relevance of, answers to the questions.
