BTW, I agree, it is really easy (as I've done it all too frequently) to remove the entire fan housing. Just unhook both fans' wiring harness from the motor connectors and lift and drop the entire housing from the "fingers" that hold the housing against the rad.

I think it's part #12552428 from gm parts direct $3.68

**Anyone know what part number the EGR tube is that goes to the header?

i will second that it can be done in 45 min....ITS REALLY EAZY. I have no idea why you would want to remove the fans

That is the correct p/n for the 1995-1997 front cover opti seal.
