Anyone know if the starters are interchangeable between '94 and '95? I have a '95, starters crapped out and I have a chance to get a '94 starter for a decent price but looking on a few online part sites it seems the part #'s are different for those two years...lot of starter listings state '95-'97 starters as a group, like they changed for '95. Anyone know?

 

LT1 starters should all be the same, and the LT4 starter will also fit.

 

Do you know if a lq4 starter would fit?
it looks almost identical to the lt1

94 LT1 starter will work in 94-97 LT1

Many who needed to replace a starter, including me, went with the 96 Vette starter as it is a gear reduction type. Smaller, lighter, faster cranking and cheaper than LT1 starter for F & B body cars. Most bought it at Autozone. Rockautp may have it cheaper.

 

He’s asking if an LQ4 (LSx) starter is the same as the LT1.
