Mini Starter Question? Please Help

I have a 94 LT1 TransAm, I am contemplating a mini starter for a few reasons. But I have some questions.

1) Which company make the best/ most reliable one & Why (in your opinion)?
2) is there anything special that would need to be purchased with the mini starter to make it operate properly?
3) My compression is 11to1 will this limit my choices when buying a mini starter?

Thanks for any help in advance. Please keep in mind that price for this item is not a major concern of mine. Thanks again!
mine. THanks again!

Why not just get an LT4 Starter? Jason Cromer sells brand new ones without core charge for like $145 or so. Its a direct fit and is a bit smaller then the old LT1 starter.

I just installed a TCI 351106 on my Stepson's '94 Formula. It was like $170 from Summit. It was a bolt-on. The best part...it only weighs 6.5 pounds.(It's a permanent magnet starter.)

70 percent of the 4th gens weight is over the front tires, putting it on a diet helps return the ratio to a better ratio. Every ounce counts, less car to move from a stop, less car to turn at speed, less car to stop when braking, it all adds up to a better car, on the track or off it.

just my opinion

Doing things like AC delete, relocating battery, Tubular suspension stuff (you can save a TON of weigh here if you get crazy) make a decent difference, but I don't see a couple pounds from a starter doing anything.... probably a bit more than hosing the dirt off your hood

Done that, and that, and that, and that..... After you lighten it up you want to keep going. Trust me.
