Removed HVAC... do I still need the vacuum tank?

I'm referring to this tank. I've removed most of the HVAC system from my car. If I don't have this, can I just remove the vacuum tank, or will this cause problems?

Thanks.

If you have removed all of the HVAC stuff (don't need the mode control on the dash to function), you don't need it.

Yep, the plenum box that uses vacuum lines will be completely gone. Thanks for the info
