You're deffinatly gonna need to try to find out what it has in it so that way if something would break on the car you would know what you had so you could tell someone so that way you could get the right parts to hook you up with

That cam sounds larger than an LT4 hotcam.

That sounds pretty stock to me.
It's just so mild and quiet.

Allwaysbroke Z,

Normally I would send a PM but apparently it appears you don't accept them.

Anyways quick question:

Where are you located? (It would be easier in recommending a Dyno Shop Near You)

Sounds like you came up on a beast that was just finished and is ready to play. When speaking to the "lady" please be sure to tread softly when requesting further information on her late-sons last ventures. Greiving(sp?) is a process for everyone, especially a mother.

Best Of Luck and congrats. Definitely a rare find.

Ruben F.

Food For Thought: If and when the "lady" searches for the requested paperwork (receipts) don't you think it might be a little odd when she sees her error when about $3-4K in recent purchases just for the valvetrain alone show up?

Guys... wait til you hear what happend today. I got up this morning around 8am and called the woman i bought the car from. She told me to give her a few hrs and she would see what she could find. I told her " the car is running strange and i need to know whats been done to it". She called me back around 11am and told me the only thing she could find that was car related was a piece of paper with the words J&J Performance on the top and some lines all over it. WELL.. J&J is a tune/Dyno place in the area. So i went to the house and got the paper... And then i did this. for about a full 2 minutes. The car was tuned and Dyno'd exactly 2 weeks before her son passed away. I wish i could scan the paper but i dont have a scanner. Im going to see what i can do... BUT ON TO THE NUMBERS!!!! 452RWHP @ 5600rpm and 399 FtLbs tq. at 2300 rpm. I then brought the car over to J&J and the guy remembered the car. He didnt have exact parts but he knew a few things. 1. Heads have been worked on. The car has a custom cam because he had to have the owner of the car call and find out some exact info on it, and whatever it was it was not a Comp cam or any other big name. The car has a 58mm T.B. on it. Pistons and Lifters have been swapped and it turns out the car has 4:10's in it. Thats about all he knew off hand and from memory. BUT. he also said with more tuning and some Lt's He believes the car could approach 475 rwhp Now my only problem is i feel like i ripped this woman off. There is no way she knew what she had in her garage.

452 is crazy, and almost unbelievable since it is stock heads.(which are probably ported) Get it dyno'd again and tuned.
