plugs and wires

Im changing the water pump and plugs and wires on my 97 z28. I did all of them except for the #8 plug in the back pass. side. Does anybody know how I can get this plug and wire out? Thanks

The #8 wire has a heat shield over it running along side the block and the head. There are 2 small bolts you have to take off to get it out.

my main problem is getting to the spark plug and removing it

thats what makes the LT1 so beautiful haha. its pretty tough luckily for me i have smaller hands and was able to get my hand in there. Did you take the y-pipe off? It makes it alot easier with it off.
