Post Hesitation off idle

I know that this has beem talked about way to much, but i am going to give it a shot anyway. I have been having a slight hessitaion right off idle for some time now. It seems that the car is bogging down, but once it reaches 2000rpm's it kicks in and goes like crazy. It does not stumble, just hesitates. It is starting to get on my nerves. What can i do to fix it. Is the coil bad? I replaced the plugs and wires 6000 miles ago. they are fine, no burns or corrosion. I did not however but any die-electric stuff on the boots when I but them on. Counld this have something to do with it. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks a lot. Car is in the sig.

I am having the same problem too. So far I have changed plugd, wires, opti, coil, and every small vacuum leak I could find to no avail. I would like to find it too. Maybe injectors or fuel pump?? I am stumped also. I was running 8.8 in the 1/8 before this started to now 9.2. That is what I was running stock!!!

yeah im having the same problem too! i know this is very very VERY common and nobody seems to know why the hell these cars do it. if i lay on the throttle in 1st, the car just sorta pulls forward till it hits 2k where it starts to shred the tires and totally redeems itself but still pisses me off

WEll, we have more with the same problem but no one who knows why. I am gonna start testing my whole fueling system. It has to be something small we are all overlooking.

Change your fuel filter. Mine was hesitating off of idle...it would rev up, then bog and drop RPMs, then rev again and drive OK. Changed the fuel filter and everything was peachy again. It's like an $8 part and it only takes about half an hour to change, so go for that first and see if it fixes your problem.

By the way, the fuel filter is a "change every 10K-15K miles" part, so don't overlook it in the future when you're under there wrenching away at stuff trying to fix a problem.

I have already changed my fuel filter so I do not think it is that. I put on a WIX. I am gonna check all my injectors sometime soon and see if they are all working properly.

It's not o2s. I just put new ones in. It's not the fuel filter. I put a new one of those on a while back too. I'm going to play with the IAC throttle follower and idle speed tables on LT1 Edit and see what happens.

I have a 94 six speed and it's recent'y decided to start the same hesitation that you guys are describing. I have had some nasty ignition problems recently so I have replaced the plugs, wires, coil, distributer, basically EVERYTHING in the ignition and now it has that hesitation in first every so often. I just wanted to know if any of you guys figured out what the problem is yet???
any help is great.
