I have a question. My opti went bad and I just changed that. I had a rough idle before and it is still there. Can having a bad opti damage your plugs and wires?? Could it be that I need to replace those now to finish the problem off?? Please let me know what you think, I replaced my IAT sensor and cleaned the throttle body and cleaned the IAC valve and that took care of my low RPM hesitation. I just need to get rid of that rough idle now. Thanks!!

I think it's more so the other way, bad wires might **** up the opti. Either way if your in doubt change them up they might have burnt from a previous instal or just gone bad over time. Also change ignition coil.

 

Thanks man, at least ya gave me some info. I will probably have to change them. I plan to use AC Delco plats again but what about wires?? Keep the info coming guys. Thanks!!!

 

Go with Taylor 8mm's. You can still run them thru the stock looms that way.

 

Hey niterider, I saw you have a MSD blaster coil, do those really make that big of a difference?? Please let me know.
