The Geman Castrol synthetic 0W30 has tested as being perhaps the best oil to use in in the LTX engines, and I think in the LSX engines as well. This info comes from the bobistheoilguy site. Lots of knowledable people there, and they actually test the oils and lubricants instead of saying this brand works good in my car.
