low oil level hole in pan

low oil level hole in pan

does anybody know the size hole and thread in the oil pan for the low oil sensor, i have a canton pan kooks long tube headers and there is no chance in hell the level sensor in the pan will clear when plugged in. basicly im looking for the right size plug.

Next time Im out where the Z is stored I'll check, I swapped the factory pan for a truck pan. Same pan, just no sensor hole.

Thats if nobody answers this for you before then.

You're not going to find one at a local parts store as it's a very odd thread. You can either order the canton plug or you can make your own by cutting & welding an old oil level sensor.

I cut and welded mine shut and it's still very close to the Kooks headers.
