Well, here are the facts. MAC's help across the whole RPM range evenly.

Take a look at my dyno chart, vs stock.
You can see from the TQ curve that the gains from the MAC's are even across the ENTIRE rpm range.

MAC Headers vs Stock

As for the sound, they sound SO much better than my stock system. I absolutely love the sound of my exhaust setup. I have the MAC's, a single high flow cat, and the Hooker catback. It's the best LT1 sound that I've found. Quiet at cruising below 2000 rpm and at idle. Step on the gas, and there is a sweet deep purring sound and it just gets better the more gas you give it.

Damn, thats an awesome gain. Especially the torque. I can't wait to get these things.

I run mac headers a gutted cat and B&B Triflo catback on my 383 and many people say its the nicest sounding LT-1/4 they have ever heard....
I agree..........at Island dragway last year there was a cop who had a 383 LT1 with the B&B triflow...best sounding BY FAR LT1 I ever heard. Its amazing you don't hear people talk about the B&B more often, it blows everything away even Borla.

I believe that was the gain going from completely stock to headers, cat back, & cold air, not JUST headers. Is that correct?

Well i dont think a catback and cold air gain you much. and considering i have both already, going to mac-headers should yield similar results. i'm sure the headers are responsible for most of that gain. im glad to see the gain over the entire rpm range with just those mods.

That is correct. I'm very happy with the gains from this combo.
