LTCC is driving me nuts
I have a Meziere pump and it doesn't seem to affect my LTCC at all. I can tell you though my MPG has picked up since I put it on last Sun. I am at 220 miles right now and its probably got another 20+ miles left. I'd normally be refilling by 200 or before.

Hmm.. I did upgrade to the Impala alternator, the stock ones are 105 AMP & the one I got is a 140AMP. It might be location related if you have an electric water pump like I have, so it wouldn't hurt to try relocating the box as mentioned & see what happens.

Matt.
93+ alternators in F-body cars except the B4C police F-bodies are all 105 AMP, the only difference between the 93 alternators & the 94+ is the fan in the front is plastic on the 94+ instead of the jaged steel one the 93 has, but they are all interchangeble.
The 94+ Caprice/Impala alternators 140 version are a bit different in that you have to loosen the bolts that hold the 2 halves together & turn the back so it looks like your 93+ alternator in the bac, its just the rear casing is fliped on those. Only thing is you will only be able to mount the B-body (impala) alternator on 2 bolts on the f-body unless you use a stock manifold bracket that bolts to the exhaust manifold & then to the alternator, you can still use that to have 3 bolts hold it.
Mine is just held on by 2 bolts & I rev my engine to 7k RPM no problems.
Also the Impala/caprice alternators have a smaller pulley on there which will eliminate the need to buy the alternator pulley if you buy an underdrive pulley for the crank, because essentially if you buy the underdrive pulley kit that comes with the alternator pulley its the same diameter as the B-body pulley.
Hope this helps.

The voltage may not drop with RPM if it is low all the time. What voltage are you seeing with the car on. Mine is well over 14 volts. If you don't have a volt meter the needle should be past the battery icon on the gauge. The issue may not be related but it doesn't hurt to have good voltage. With Gary's cables the car starts easier for better gas mileage, better spark energy, the stereo sounds better, lights are brighter, etc.,etc., etc. One of the best $50 mods I've ever done.

I also have ASP underdrive pullies but have never had a problem with charging even with 400 watt stero cranking, AC on, a CSI waterpump and cooling fans at a stop sign at idle at night.... (did I forget anything?)
