Lt1 camaro bogging problems

1994 camaro z28 i have changed the optispark and water pump and wires and plugs cold air intake and it still has a problem with bogging. It's never really boys when cold and if I start first try it goes and starts if I shut it off and try again its take a little and when I drive it cold it drives fine and now lag. But when it's hot it bogs on take off 1000-2000 rpm if you give it regular gas but if you slightly push it it does bog as bad. It always done it since I bought the car and I've double checked every wire and plug. It seem to stay in bogging mode when it push to speed up and if you let it stay like that it will shake A little and surge. I have no idea what it could be. Please someone have this same problem who has fixed it

Re: Lt1 camaro bogging problems

Have you checked the rubber intake elbow for tears, or the bottom lip not being over the throttle body?

Have you cleaned the MAF sensor?

Have you scanned it for codes and checked the fuel pressure?

I've changed it with a brand new cold air intake and I've cleaned the maf and the rubber elbow is fine and not folded underneath the throttle body people say maye fuel filter or icm cooling mod.

As said above have you scanned for codes? Checked fuel pressure? You say it seems to run fine when cold what amount of time (1-2 minutes or longer?) As that may point to heat sink or closed loop issue.

Re: Lt1 camaro bogging problems

Definetly check your fuel pressure. With the vacuum line off it should read 40+ @ idle. if its under 40, its possible fuel pump .It sounds like a fuel supply issue.. Good luck
