Aww, it doesn't matter. There is not even one car that has dyno'd higher in STD(posted here). I say it should be topped in standard, SAE or whatever. It doesn't matter if people want to cry about STD vs SAE. I just say, top it.
Until then, Bills car is the cam only leader..

But you wont do that because you are just a troll here to start up some trouble.... so if you are not a troll then get the SAE numbers.

Re: LT1 "cam only" dyno record

don't worry guys..this guy is trying to make up for something. To inflate your own numbers and try and compair to others numbers that use a known lower correction factor is just childish. Don't worry..his "buddy" will go to the track and lay down some less than great numbers and we won't hear another word from this guy. And you can make a claim all you want..it won't be recognized on this board and more importantly most likely won't be backed up on the track. If you want to fool all your friends to try and inflate your ego go right ahead though.

When the **** did I say use a mustang dyno? Cars are rated in SAE, that is the AMERICAN standard. No one posted higher cam only #'s because they either didn't see the thread, or they are all SAE #'s, not the inflated STD #'s.

I would love to see the SAE numbers on that setup.
BTW mad scientist, SAE numbers are more realistic than STD numbers. JMHO

A lot of growing to do?!?!? Why don't you grow some compatents and listen to what everyone is saying... you can not compare to DIFFERENTLY corrected numbers, they have to be correct the same way, it very simple and you can not grasp that concept, please grow up your self.

That's the most pitiful attempt at making a logical statement I've ever seen. You don't even get it, even after everyone is trying to explain it to you in very simple terms.

The reason you haven't seen higher STD numbers than yours is because not many people post STD numbers. I can sit here with Winpep and change my correction factor from SAE to STD to DIN to JIS and pick the highest one. Of course STD and DIN are the two highest. Actually, DIN numbers would give you even higher numbers than STD, so why stop at STD? Let's see your DIN numbers, since you're obviously deserving of using the CF that gives you the highest number, regardless of what the accepted standard is. The people on this board aren't immature...you are the problem here. I don't put much weight on dyno numbers, but some guys do and those guys work hard modding/tuning their cam only setups only to have you come in here and post your bogus STD numbers and try to claim that you hold some dyno record? Everyone else is playing on a level playing field, and you are just trying to cheat yourself to the "top" (top of what I dunno). Grow up and get real man.

Re: LT1 "cam only" dyno record

Wow, I don't know why you guys even bother replying to this. Who cares if they have the leading cam only car, what does that mean? NOTHING. Besides, he can post a dyno sheet, its not like the sheet will show all of his mods. Knowing this guy he will spray a 100 shot to get to his claimed 36X then post the sheet.

Re: LT1 "cam only" dyno record

if you guys are counting "bolt-ons" in this cam only record, then anyone with a blower hasalready beat this kid...end of story. Ive got 520 rwhp SAE with STOCK HEADS, on a Mustang Dyno nonetheless. If this car was pure stock with ONLY a CAM, hence the cam only, Id say the number are prob pretty decent, but if youre counting bolts ons in CAM ONLY, then hes far from having any type of record.

Re: LT1 "cam only" dyno record

bolting on a blower/nitrous/turbo is not considered "cam only" or "bolt ons".

Re: LT1 "cam only" dyno record

Personally I think that "cam only" should be just that, not "cam only" plus rockers, elec w/p, TB, exhaust, etc. The comment was made earlier that solid rollers don't count as "cam only" because you have to change the lifters as well. I think that's crap, if you can count supporting mods in "cam only" numbers then solid rollers should be allowed, esp since you have to R&R the lifters anyway.
