LE2 cam install(2 question)

Since i need to tear the front of the car again to take off the timing to solve this: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531981

I told myself why not cam it

I will be installing:
1-LE2 Cam
8-Gm guide plate(14011051)
1 set-Comp cam pushrod(question about it)
1 set-Comp pro mag rocker(question about it)
1 set-Pac1218 or Pac1518(depend on the choice of rr)
1 set-4705-16 Seats
1 set-614-16 Locks 10*
1 set-795-16 Steel retainers
1 set-Timing cover gasket set
1 set-Intake gasket set

Rocker stud:
-What 7/16 rocker stud do i need p/n??

Pushrod question:
-My engine is new(lt4,195cc head,oversized valve)with all the supporting mods(Lt headers,cat less "y"pipe,32lbs injectors,52mm tb)so do i need stock length 1 pieces hardened 7.20" puhsrod or shorter?

Rocker question:
-I dont have the lift spec yet on the le2 cam but it similar to a cc306 one so around .510"/.540" with 1.5rr so that would give .544"/.576" with 1.6rr.My car is a street car with a lot of spirit but im trying to have some reliabillity.I was always told to keep the lift under .550" on the street to be safe.

So do i order some 1.5rr to keep it under .550" or i am gonna loose to much power and i should put some 1.6rr.

Thanks

you will be fine running the 1.6 rockers

you really need to put it all together and check PR length.......wrong PR can be 15 h.p

Search on how to check them then go from there, I won't tell you 7.2" is right cause it may work it may not

Ok i ll take 1.6rr

The reason im asking about the puhsrod is because im from canada and ordering all my parts from the states(prices and services issue ) and i wanted to order everything in one shot.

But for 15hp i thonk that i will order a pushrod lenght checker and order the good one after.

All LE cams are designed to run with certain valvetrain parts. Ask Lloyd Elliott these questions if you buy the LE2 cam from him or he may suggest you ask SStrokerAce. That may or may not be a good cam for your combination, BTW.

I wanted a cam with a lot of lope and good power.I was looking at a cc306 because it sound so mean but the torque curve under 3500rpm was kinda low.

I then see the le2 cam wich is very similar to a cc306 but give a lot more torque between the 2500/3500rpm band.

I know that i dont have the best head(stock lt4 one) but at least i got 25cc ,30cfm more and bigger valve than a stock lt1 one so i think that is the cam im looking for but i could be wrong.

I dont have bought it yet.Tommorrow is the buying day
