ditto the shifting manually... that is by far the easiest and most cost effective (free) way to make the thing go above 5200 WOT. I have never seen a 93 that would shift any higher than that on it's own. That's just how they are and it's an easy "fix".

 

Is it bad for the tranny...on a stock one?

 

Did some datalogging and tuning tonight.
She's running much better. I'll do some more this week.
Tranny guy is working on finding the parts I need to adjust shifting
and keep me from blowing this thing to bits
