intake elbow= problems??
do this: take 2 Q-tips and some isopropyl alcohol and gently GENTLY clean the MAF wires
i actually bent one a little, they are very fragile but mine were coated in black stuff and i could feel smoother throttle response after i did it. i suspect it was years of K&N oil and dirt

He explained why.... to reset the long term fuel corrections (BLM's). If you've been leaking air in after the MAF sensor, the BLM's will have been driven up to add fuel to the air that hasn't been measured. After you make the repair, and you are measuring all the air with the MAF, you don't want the PCM to use those BLM's. It will, over a period of time, make the required adjustments to the BLM's, but resetting the PCM to speed up the adjustment makes sense.
And, to reset it, do not unhook the battery unless you are sure you have the radio security code. It's just as easy to pull the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds with the key in the "off" position.
