Tries to kill the positive crankcase pressure and pull vac like a dry sump.

Its a couple of fittings that get welded to your exhaust system, with 2 more fittings in the valve covers. The exhaust flow then pulls crankcase pressure out of your engine, thus reducing pressure working against the rotating assembly. Usually used on high RPM race motors. I have one friend that used it on a powerful big block, but it does puff some smoke out the tailpipes. I wouldn't use it personally on any of my cars, and never on a street car.

We're going to be using the stock air pump to pull pressure out of my motor... (just an idea for you)

I will have it next year on my street car. I will have to watch the oil more often, but I check it all the time anyway.

It is supposed to free up power. Many people I have talked to say you can get a 1/10 ET drop, that is on fast cars, so maybe more for slow folks like the most of us.

I will be doing mine a little differently. I will run the breathers from the valve covers into a "T", and from that to the y-pipe, so I only have to have one fitting to weld.

Do you know how many CFM's the stock unit will pull? Will it keep up with crank case pressure at high RPM?

No, I'm not sure. My mechanic told me at one point though. He seemed to think it was adequate.... I can try to find out, or maybe someone else knows.

One of my friends has it on his heads and cam LT1 350.

He has uncoated long tubes and true duals.

I was just wondering if it was worth the money.

Why do you have to check your oil more often, does it really pull out that much oil? I've heard its suposed to help oil consumtion due to blowby...
