Installing switch for fans

Im going to do this in a week and I need the best setup. I fix my over heating with the sensors but the fans never went on and now it runs 190-210 but when it sits for about 5 min it runs at 230 for a while waiting for the fans to turn on and then it slowly climbs to 240-250. Then if you wait5-10 min and start the car it goes near the red and goes down only to 250 and once I drive it goes back 190 - 210. I need a switch so when I sit for along time I can run the fans or when I shut the car off then when I start it its not so hot. 1.) Should I find a switch diagram that makes two fans that go on or one. 2.) is SLP good for swtiches? 3.) Should I just get one at Auto Zone? I put the AC on and the fan doesn't go on. I did the relays and fuses and still doesn't work. Only when you plug that tester in the box the relay area the fans go on. Pissin me off. I need a kit. Please help. Thanks guys. It has the stock pump and thermostat.

I have the SLP switch. It's great on hot days, in traffic or at the track.

The Thermo...is Fu**ed Even If You Bought It Brand New Sometimes They Come That Way. Get A New 1. Also You Can Find A Diy On The Web. For Making Your Own Fan Switch Thats What My Brother Did To His 96camaro After I Bought One From Slp For Like 70.00 .....but You Can Make One For Like 5-10bucks Thats What He Did. Get A 160 Thermo.from Summit I Think Since Summer Is Right Around The Corner You Dont Need Your Car To Run Hot Anymore. Thats What I Did And The Switch Being Installed My Car Sits At 160 With The Switch On I Remember B4 I Raced A Friend Or Some1 On A Open Road I Had To Drive Down The Strip 1 Time And Turn Around To Get The Car To 160-170. Now I Flip The Switch But I Drive With It On All The Time Until Some1 Pulls Up On Me Then I Turn Off

When you have questions like this, its always a good idea to start with Shoebox's site:

Please do not post the same topic on multiple forums. It really irritates people when they waste their time telling you something you have already been told in another thread. Sort of inconsiderate.
