Inline Fuel Pump

Here is the question, Im installing a Powedyne supercharger, Now the questions I have is with the fuel system, I know i need to upgrade the fuel system. I cant spend alot of money because the Wife will catch on.. So Can I install a inline fuel pump to boost the pressure, with the stock pump still in the tank and working properly, I understand its not the best setup but will it work?

Re: Inline Fuel Pump

Adding the inline will work. The NOS dry kit comes with an inline pump, and I ran that for almost 5 years with no problems. Part of the answer as to the best way to do it depends on how you increase your fuel flow on boost. If you add the extra fuel using an FMU that boosts fuel pressure with boost, the inline pump will make it easier for your system to reach a higher pressure, while maintaining high flow.

In-line fuel pumps aren't cheap; my experience is that they cost about double that of an in-tank pump. Of course that's parts cost only and you have to do the labor.
