110k on my engine at time of dyno - and i rev it to 6400 almost daily not to mention was running a 150 wet shot for couple months

ive been very lucky i guess. looking to get a set of AFR heads and have some porting done in the near future, see if i can crack the 400 mark.

Mine is right at 145,000. It gets the WEEE revved out of it daily as well. AND it was a cop car for 83,000 miles befor I bought it. I took it to the track 100% stone stock and ran 13.71@99.9 with a 2.03 60ft. Ill have to say Im lucky as well. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to get another short block so I can save the original block.

kingman109, I just looked at your webshots pics. MAN! I love the color of your car. That grey/green metallic is one of my favorite 4th gen colors. My friend just priced me his grey/green metallice 94 Z28 for $3200!! Its a 100% original 2.73 auto car. Its a 2 owner car with just over 80k on it. I was so bummed when he offered it to me cause my cash flow is low Oh well, he took it to the auction last weekend so Im sure it will make someone a really nice car. Just thought Id let you know I really dig your car

thnx - unfortunately that was my winter beater for a couple years [ does having a camaro for winter car make me a redneck ] about 3 years ago when i was finishing my sophomore year of college blew the engine and tranny .... so sold her as is to someone out of PA for 1800. 2 months later i started work on the black 97 and after 3 months of summer had her on the road.

i actually really miss that color, it looked absolutely amazing with a good wax or wet. could see blues, purples, greens.. but after couple years in the sun with no garage started fading to a straight green.

But with a 6-speed that may be alittle more difficult than I think. Im in the process of building an 8.8 with 4.10s so I hope that will be enough gear to get me 60 footing well. Ill also be running a 26x10.5x16 E/T street once I get a real rear end. Thanks guys for all your replys!!

Yeah...You'll love this. 303HP at the wheels through a 9.5" non lock-up 3800 stall, 700R4, and a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears. This was on a Dynojet.

WOW 303hp! Talk about an optimized chassis! How much does your car weigh?? I REALLY need to get my 60s down. 2.0s are just horrable. My car dead hooks but it just doesnt have enough gear to keep the engine in the power. Thanks for the hope guys.

According to the scales at Englishtown, it weighs 3448# with me in it and 3/4 tank of gas. It was weighed there when I did the "Fastest Bolt-On" invitational a few years ago. My car is a hard top/standard window/standard lock car. The only options it came with were cruise control and 3.23 gears.

Very nice! Sounds like my friends 94 B4C. With some tuning it could be in the 11.9s I think. He doesnt make it to the track much though. It weighed in at 3250lbs curb weight with about 3/4 tank. It has no options what so ever. It doesnt have cruise or even a rear window defroster. Mine weighed 3310lbs with my drag lites and no sway bar (that was curb weight also). It was 3565lbs with me in it. Im not a lightweight myself so I knock a few tenths off :P . Im gonna finish up my list of bolt-on parts in the next few months and replace some of the parts that have worn out in the past 50k miles (ie: lifters, valve springs, plugs, plug wires, clutch......) and Im also going to finish my 8.8 rear and try to figure out what Im gonna do about a clutch. I really hope I can crack that 11.9 mark. My car is alittle heavier this year than it was last year though. I put my C5 wheels back on and my sway bar. But I did run13.1@111.09mph but I had a very poor 2.2 60foot because the burnt plug wire I didnt know I had at the time caused the car to bog horrably off the line. I think my new opti "might" have gained me a MPH or 2. Its hard telling though. My car recovers for the first 200ft of the track from my sad launches so hopefully I wont lose 3-4mph with a hard launch like some people do. Well sorry for the long post again. Just alot to think about. Thanks again.

Jeremy
