Thinking of getting a set of ported LT1 heads for my 94 Vette that where on a Firebird. Was there any difference between the two Bird and Vette heads? Will the alternator, compressor etc bolt up as should be on an LT1 vette. Thanks for the Help!!!

 

They are the same as long as it is a lt1 Vette; could be a lt4 with a orange/red intake manifold. If you don't have the orange/red looking intake then the Firebird bird heads will work.

 

The LT4 was only used in the 1996 Corvette. He has a 94. If its an original Corvette engine for that year, its an LT1 and the same heads are used on the Corvette and F-Body applications.

The alternator and other accessories bolt to the mounting bracket that bolts to the front of the block, not to the heads, so nothing will change if all you are swapping is the heads.
