Electric Fans Problem!

My car stays very very cool. The temp might rise to 160 if im lucky. When I start my car the fans come on in about a min. and they stay on. Iteven happens when it is very very cold outside. When it get to about 160 I am able to get a little heat but not much. Can anyone tell me what is going on? It just keeps getting colder and I need some heat. lol Thanks

bad coolant sensor in the front of the block? i have the same problem but its not my sensor... i have a new sensor and it did it with the old one too... the pigtail however could be the culprit

when ive hooked it up to datamaster the temp will read 160* then 270* then 160 then 270 every other second so my cpu thinks the temp is going that high and keeps kicking the fans on...

check the pigtail/sensor/and wiring itself

Check engine light on? Fans will run with most trouble codes.

Neither. It is on the water pump.
