e-brake questions..

My e-brake hasn't ben right for a while now. The handle is very stiff and only comes up a little even if i really yank on it. It worked fine until one day I went to yank it up when i was parking and it made a loud springing noise and had no resistance coming up, since then it's been VERY stiff. I know the rear brakes need to be replaced soon, they'll get done in the next couple of weeks but will this auto adjust or will I have to check/adjust something? Thanks.

Colin

When you replace you rear brakes check out the e-brake line and make sure you didn't snap it. You also could have locked your rear brakes if you ebrake handle is very stiff.
