Angry E-brake is rubbing the inside of my rotors!!!

After working on my car for days, finally looking forward to taking it for a spin, I discover my E-brake is rubbing the inside of the brake rotors!!! Even after putting on the E-brake and letting it off, it will rub. Even after turning the adjusting nuts all the way down, it will still rub! What the hell am I supposed to do? I tried shifting the shoes around and that did nothing, if anything made it worse. The clip holding it to the backing plate is tight. The parking break is fully disengaging, no sticking. I have no idea what happened for it to do this, maybe I bumped something. I think the shoes are supposed to aling them selves but mine don't. They seem to be a little loose too but there is no way to tighten them.

Anyone?!?!

Sounds like you might need to replace them. And to do that you have to dissassemble the whole rear axle, remove the axles to get to everything, I think. I had mine adjusted, and works better than new.

By the way......Nice ride! Very nice indeed.
