I need some help here....
I parked in the lot at work and i was late so i pulled the E-brake
really hard since i was in a rush and it went up and i heard a snap.....i put the E-brake back down and then pulled it back up and it went up smooth and there was no firmness....I think i broke the cable....
anyone with info on how to replace or how easy it is to replace or what the cost is??...I have a Chiltons manual so this will make it easier if it is easy to replace......

oh yeah...if i drive the car like this is it possible to damage any other parts in the car???

might not be the cable...could of just bent the link that connects the parking brakes to the brake lever. sounds exactly the same and has the same feeling. Easy to replace...just have to drop the drive shaft and swap out the shifter cable assembly.
