I find it a little hard to believe myself. That's a huge gain for just a couple bolt-ons. Something about your dyno sheet doesn't look right to me either...

ihave to agree with the last few posts... i have all the basic bolt ons, (headers CAI, gears, hpp3, airfoil, cutout, catback, !cats, !air,160stat, freemods, and mine put down 280wrhp & 316 TQ.... and that was 13.4@105 w/ 2.2 60'

OK, Mir if you're the same one from Dallas (Ennis) I have raced w/ him a few times. I knew him when he was running 13.6s I know because my best timeslip was against him. That was when he had headers, orypipe, and exhaust and basics like that. I dynoed at 296/327 that setup and I have even dynoed w/ that guy once. I want to see the beast again Mir, come back to Ennis!
my own cam plan is foiling out as well

What headers are you using?
I run my hotcam up to 6400 without a drop in power. You might want to run it a bit higher. Also, you A/F ratio could be flatter and seems rich when I compare it to mine (mine is closer to 12.2).
Someone who really knows tuning - Please respond.
Overall the Hotcam is a great value though.

Then again, it is a substantiated claim, JUST LIKE Mir's! Then again, some people just can't stand it when someone else makes more power with less stuff.

I have no problem with it if it is true. Why would I be jealous? My car is far faster...regardless, look at his "supposed" dyno sheet. Now look at where the torque and hp curves meet. On every "real and authentic" dyno shhet I have ever looked looked at, the torque and hp curves have always met at approximately 5250 rpm. That's one way to tell if a dyno sheet is real or not. His is way off. Now, I'm not saying that this is ALWAYS the case, but it applys 99% of the time. Who knows, it may be true and real...but until I see it happen in front of my eyes, I will continue to doubt it.

Every single dyno curve EVER created should cross at 5252 rpm. His is below 5000, calling BS on this one, he is wrong. Even from one run to the next they are crossing at different parts! All those trying to defend, you guys better stop, it's BS.
1995Z ---> good job w/ the Hot cam, don't let this guy discourage you, it's BS.

The only way for a dyno sheet to match at 5252 is if both sides of the graph are scaled the same, in other words, 300 hp line is also the 300 tq line. Now, the actual numbers will still be exaclty the same at 5252, but it looks different on the graph. And this is why on Mir's sheet it looks wrong. The horsepower side and torque side are NOT scaled the same, so they will NOT meet at 5252...However, the actual number at 5252 IS the same. BTW, I'll vouch for his car. He is well known in these parts.
