dyno numbers

383, GM847 Cam, Eagle Crank, Eagle Rods, SRP Forged Pistons, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Comp Srings, 42lb Injectors, LPE CAI, Full Exhaust, and a PCMforless tune

made 342wheel and 354 torque on a Superflow.

We were initially going to tune it today, but the PCMforless tune was spot on I was really happy with those numbers for stock heads, intake and throttle body so thats why I thought I would post up the numbers.

ill post the actual sheets when I get to a scanner.

Since you are quoting rear wheel HP, you need to include info on the type of tranny to make the numbers meaningful.

He wasn't trying to put you down, just giving some helpful info. What tranny your car has makes a big difference in the RWHP numbers.

And btw, that seems like some good power through an auto. I'd be happy with it.

You are really in need of a set of Heads. Was this on a mustang dyno?

You completely misunderstood the purpose of my question. It was not an attempt to minimize or belittle your accomplishment. The type of trans affects the rwHP, and allows a more precise evaluation of the flywheel HP. I thought that was important, as it makes what you have done more meaningful. The results are impressive.

My sincere apologies fo offending you..... It was not my intent.

Not to put you down, but why on earth would you go through all the trouble to build a 383 only to put in a dinosaur cam on stock heads? I'm not really impressed by those numbers, but at least you are.

JMHO, of course.
