then add in the cost it would take to send them out and have them opened...still probably under what it would cost for some of the more expensive heads...

Im thinking for a complete CNC work over that a big Inch Solid roller motor can use its gonna be in the 3k range. For something a little less wild i would guess 2k.

Ai working on CNC program for Dart LT1

Phil sent me a link to his lastest work on the bare Dart LT1 heads that I sent to him. Looks like we are now going to have more than a few heads to choose from for the LT1. (GM, TFS, AFR, Dart)
CNC Dart LT1 by Ai

Here is a photo of the Dart factory assembled head on an LT1 going in an Impala SS a few days from now.

wow 276 at .5.

Im droolin over here.

We are getting close to LS1 terrritory.

For comparison a very popular and very good performing head from TSP (stage 2.5 5.3) at 220cc flows 290 at .5.
And the LT1 Darts arent even done yet, awesome. Very Impressive for a 23* head

I'm interested in seeing the finished product, the 200's outflow them untill 500 lift so right now it looks like there won't be that much of a gain on a street car, but then again this is just going off flow #'s and not track #'s.

give it some time guys......It takes a while to find good air. We just started getting good air from stock casting in the past few years.

With a little time I'm sure Ai (along with others) will find alot more out of these

This still impresses me, stock castings have come a LONG way.

I like the 276 at 500! Perfect for those who still want a mild enough cam not to be able to hear it.

That's after years of development though.... imagine after AI has these for a while and finds the sweet spots.

Yeah I know that it's just that everyones acting like these flow #'s at those lifts are something new. I am curious to see what they find out of the darts after some more developement though.

You guys need to stop. I run decent, but would like to run quicker. On my wish list I already have a CPT trans, drive shaft, 12 bolt, 6-point bar, stronger bottom end, up the nitrous shot, and now, some heads that will really move some air, once the little tricks are found. Whats that, about another 14k to 15k? Please stop. LOL
