Dart LT1 heads

Does anyone know anything about these new dart pro1's for lt1's? Looks like Karl Ellwein got a pair. Was wondering if anyone knows if they will offer them in sizes larger then the 180cc.

It's good to see that someone still cares. I'm wanting to see what the good porters can get out of these.

Looks like they flow just about as well as the LE1 heads right out of the box with smaller ports @.500" lift

I know Ai will be putting out a CNC'd version of this head (per thier website). I'm curious to see what it will do with some work.

I was going to say rumor has it someone already sent a set to them to play with.

Kind of makes me wish they came out a couple months earlier to see what they are going to do. Either way I'm sure the 200's will suit me fine.

The 200s came out right after I got my 190s. Only way to have the latest and greatest of anything is to constantly buy new, most of us can not afford that.

So is the pricing on jegs per head or for the pair? They only show the 180s though. If they are flowing as well as jegs states then I may be looking at a new direction for my heads.

Well since I know the Dart parts pretty dam well I know for sure that a 320+cfm port can go in these and and do very well.

The new Pro 1 port is a very nice piece and thankfully the LT1 version has a nice small bore and a small port to start from.

I'll have to check my pricing on them from Big D but starting with them as bare castings is a good way to go and right in line with all the other SBC castings. I'm picky about the valves and springs that go with the heads so to me bare always makes the most sense.

So have you seen these on a bench yet? I remember we talked about them a long time ago......... I want to know if they are worth it. I have quite a bit in a set of heads I haven't even used yet
