YEP, me and Russ are buddies, no secret there and no secret that he can drive my car at least 3 tenths quicker than me. That is NO secret and I am not ashamed of that fact. If you look up any of my post dealing with my car you will see him in the 'mod' list.

I know what I can do and what my talents are, I know what his are. I have been able to maximize both of our strengths, in alot of circles that is smart.

Russ is the driver

Which car would that be? Like you wish you knew anything.

I've been in a lot of cars and knocked off ET with just me driving, and over smaller lighter drivers at that.

Re: Criticize my next setup...

I just stumbled across this thread. Wow, what a thread.

As far as comparing a set of heads, you need to have a well running car using one set of heads and change the heads ONLY to see the difference.

96Capricemgr can ship his AI heads and an AI intake to Stumpy, Handyman or Hvyss and after a simple head/intake swap, we would KNOW how they stack up. We would have track times and dyno #'s comparing the two. We would then know if here is a 5 or 10 HP difference or a .5 to 2.0 tenth difference and we would know whos head was better by that amount.

These heads were done a while back and I have stumbled across a few things since then but this would still be a fun expiramant.

"LET EM HANG" and we'll see the results.

Most people would like to see what they are getting when they pay AI that extra $325 (add more $$$ for Ferrea valves).

Putting a set of your best LT1 offerings on Rick Abarre's car would be one of the best comparison scenarios I can think of.

I think we AI customers pay the extra $$ just so we don't have to see our cam specifier get into silly internet pissing contests.

Regardles.. that "cam specifier" also happens to be one of the most helpful people on the forums.. including PM's.

No doubt, I'm sure. There has just been enough silliness in this thread that doesn't do much for the credibility he's earned thus far.

Re: Criticize my next setup...

Well that's the joy of having internet forums with teenagers.

You don't have to like me. I just have to make my customers happy with what they get from me, all the guys who go to competitors I could really give two ****s about. I don't have any credibility with those guys anyways so why would I try?

FWIW all this BS starts at the top of the ladder with Ron and Phil IMHO. FWIW if ya'll ran like Rick that would be one thing, but ya'll don't. I've made the same kind of power with Lloyds heads on a Solid Roller 383 that he has, too bad the guy blew it up on the dyno with WAY too much juice. Oh... BTW a street car doesn't have wheelie bars, it's just a heavy race car if it does that.

Dude,

Hows your killer coming along?

I've got two bad boys I'm throwing on the pump here soon that I'm excited to play with.... let alone some cool LS1 stuff that should make 10's look slow.
