coolant fans stay on cons
95 lt1"service engine soon lights comes on and stays on until you turn the car off. the. coolant fans also come on and stay on the whole time. If I can get the service engine soon light to go off the fans stay off and won't come on at all. I have to lt car idle for 10 minutes before its a little warm. since the fans come on when you turn the engine over.

Scan it for codes - requires an OBD-1 scanner, with an adapter from the 12-pin DLC to the 95’s 16-pin DLC connector.
It may be the coolant temperature sensor in the water pump. But there are also other diagnostic codes/problems that cause the fans to run all the time.
If you would like to check the coolant temp sensor and the wiring, here is the procedure, from Shoebox:

If you can scan it for codes, here's an LT1 specific code list:

Jumper wires for 12-pin to 16-pin DLC.

Some up front diagnostics are generally cheaper than playing “parts replacement roulette”......
