on my cousins '95 T/A, the cooling fans will only work if the A/C is on. If you shut it off, they wont turn on at the certain temp. Also, the low coolant light is on but it is full (if that matters). Thanks.

 

could be a relay issue or the temp sending unit but only one fan is supposed to come on with the A?C the secondary if both come on then there may be other problems

 

It may or may not have a real problem. You might want to read some background info on how the system works.

There is a current thread about the low coolant sensor and many more can be found with a search. Has the coolant actually been checked to see if it is low? An easy way to check what is in the radiator is to open the cap first thing in the morning when the engine is completely cool. The coolant should be at or very near the top.
